ICAMS (Improving the environmental communication and awareness of migrants and social disadvantaged citizens)

ICAMS (Improving the environmental communication and awareness of migrants and social disadvantaged citizens) is a learning partnership with the objective, to give small adult education institutions the possibility to exchange and share experience, problems, methods and best practice examples focusing on environmental education for specific target groups. In ICAMS four partner institutions coming from Poland, Italy, Greece and Germany, all having experiences in the areas of environmental education and migration/integration, work together. The targets of the project are:
- Improvement of the environmental communication with migrants and social
disadvantaged
- Development of methodic-didactic concepts for teaching environmentally relevant
knowledge
- Development of concepts for performing environmentally relevant activities with
publicity effect
- Implementation of the developed concepts in pedagogic practice
- Development and publishing of a practical guide, containing experiences, results and
developed concepts of ICAMS
